Anandtech just reviewed the Arctic Cooling Duo: Alpine 7 and Freezer 7 Pro. These coolers have been around the market for a while and they are known for their affordability. AnanadTech gave it a great rating, calling it “Best Buy for the Money”. This cooler outperformed the top coolers like the Thermalright Ultra 120 eXtreme and and Tuniq Tower 120.
The cooler is much smaller than other top performers and has a 92 mm fan, compared to other bigger coolers with 120 mm fans.
Anandtech has been reviewing quite a few cooling products lately and this one one of the coolers that caught my eye because of its cheap price.
You can buy this cooler from sites like Newegg and SVN. It costs anywhere from $25 – $35.
Keep an eye out on a few posts about my setup. I have been tinkering around with my setup for a while now trying to make it quite. I am not a fan of loud desktops or laptops.
